RuneLab documentation

A practical guide to creating, verifying, and managing RuneLab launches.

What RuneLab is#

RuneLab is a Solana launch interface with a visual language inspired by Bitcoin Rune culture. A launch created here is a Solana token created through the Pump.fun program; it does not etch, mint, transfer, or bridge a Bitcoin Rune.

What you can do#

  • Connect a compatible wallet-standard Solana wallet.
  • Create token metadata and optionally upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP artwork.
  • Launch a SOL pair or select a supported custom quote asset.
  • Review and sign the prepared transaction in your wallet.
  • Verify the confirmed launch before it is saved to the RuneLab token record.

Platform architecture#

The Create interface collects validated launch fields and uses the connected wallet for signing. Metadata is uploaded through the application API to configured IPFS storage, the prepared transaction is sent on Solana, and the server verifies the confirmed transaction before a token record can appear in RuneLab discovery and detail views.
